Designs of Chinese Blessings is a compilation of special good luck pictures passed down in Mr. Huang's Family for several generations as well as those which Mr. Huang has been collecting for dozens of years. Their beauty is beyond description. The book consists of five sections: Good Fortune, High Salary, Longevity, Happiness, and Wealth. With 119 pictures in each section, the whole set contains 595 pictures and is a complete representation of various aspects of traditional Chinese good luck pictures.

Huang Quanxin was born in 1944 in Beijing. A painter, calligrapher, and scholar, Mr. Huang teaches at the Middle School Attached to Beijing Normal University. Mr. Huang has dedicated himself to the study of Chinese traditional culture for many years and yielded up to an impressive number of over 80 books in the areas of good luck culture, religion, calligraphy, painting, and art education.
