KUAILE HANYU is part of a major project sponsored by HANBAN. It is a set of Chinese teaching materials specially compiled for middle school overseas students aged 11 to 16, which has won the title “2006 Most Popular International Chinese Teaching and Learning Material” and the title “Outstanding International Chinese Language Teaching Materials 2010” by HANBAN.
KUAILE HANYU consists of three books, with a student's book, a teacher's book, a workbook, flash cards, wall charts and CD at each level.
In 2014, with the assistance of the HANBAN (Confucius Institute Headquarters), People's Education Press has produced the second edition of the KUAILE HANYU series to keep up with the changing times.
In accordance with updated requirements from the HSK Outline, Youth Chinese Test (YCT) Outline and the UK GCSE, the second edition of KUAILE HANYU contains enriched content and increased vocabulary requirements. After completing KUAILE HANYU Book 3, students will be prepared to pass HSK Level 3. The new edition features an updated layout design and illustration style. Photos of realistic scenes have been added to keep the series modern and up-to-date while taking into consideration the interests of teenagers.
KUAILE HANYU is multi-language teaching material developed by HANBAN, which has been published in 45 different 45 languages.
